Le boeuf d'argent - Réserver une table

We found Le Boeuf d'Argent after we had gone to look at Jeremy Galvan next door. (We had tried - and failed - to get in to JG which has a strange online booking system which appears to show tables are available when they are not)! While we were looking at the menu at Le Boeuf, the chef and his wife arrived for evening service and we were able to book a table. The food was absolutely superb - my Crevettes de Madagascar in particular - and the surroundings and ambience were great. Three separate groups were celebrating birthdays that evening and it was clearly a place to go for a special night out. The service was excellent. C'était un repas incroyable dès la seconde où nous avons été accueillis à la porte de la dernière bouchée parfaite et à un prix bien inférieur à ce qu'il en coûterait dans un restaurant étoilé Michelin (bien que Le Boeuf D'Argent soit certainement digne d'une étoile. Le service était incroyable et. ..sans prétention, et le chef Henri Balland est venu nous voir à deux reprises pour s'assurer que nous étions satisfaits de notre repas. Vous pouvez dire que c'est un établissement familial qui est très fier d'offrir une expérience culinaire mémorable.

I accompanied business colleagues to this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised that the chef created a beautiful vegetarian plate to accommodate my diet. Delicious, too! The meat eater at the table were all very pleased. I would go again anytime.

Des niveaux étonnants, étoilés Michelin et plus dans un environnement convivial et familial. La nourriture était exceptionnelle, nous avions un menu dégustation, la combinaison des différentes saveurs était incroyable.

We had the absolute pleasure of lunch here and absolutely loved it. Nice quiet friendly ambience, superb food, wine and service - it's first on the list when we revisit Lyon without a doubt !
