Where to begin...first you walk in and are greeted by the smell of cigarette smoke. If your lucky some one will greet you. Finally get a seat and wait. Wait. Wait. Then finally someone takes your drink order. Drinks come quick. Wait. Wait. Wait. Then...wait Flag down the waiter...(pun intended) for meal orders. Waiting more...meanwhile the ambiance is terrible. The front is a mix of cheap cigarettes and lighters and a poorly stocked bar. Still waiting. Finally 30m later waiter comes and said he lost our order and we have to reorder. We've been here and hour now. Should've left then. Now when we reorder he tells us they are now out of muscles. You gotta be kidding me. I order a pizza thinking...

When we walked in we began to have second thoughts because the front is noisy and jammed with people. We got put in the back room where we breathed a sigh of relief. The waiter asked us to sit at a table littered with someone else's dinner plates and said he would soon come and clean it up. While that would not happen in the US, I thought it perhaps cultural or just the way this place does its business. The waiter did clean it up and turned out to be a delightful fellow. My husband's and my moules with Normandie sauce were absolutely delicious. They were small and served piping hot. There were more there than we could finish. My friend ordered the seafood pasta and thought it was pasta-heavy...

We visited here again on our recent trip to France and as usual, we couldn't fault the food or the service which is always friendly. It was very busy for a Tuesday lunchtime with the guys almost running to keep up with the orders and serving the food. Nevertheless, the food was hot and tasty. We had opted for the meal of the day, which was a seafood pasta salad for starters, pork in a delicious sauce with chips and a small salad for mains and fruit salad for desert. The desert was different to the one on the menu but that was because they were so busy they had run out! We witnessed two sitting of the local gendarmes using the restaurant which must be a good advert!

La Brazza was our second choice as the more up-market place close by refused to accept our dog. How lucky for us! The ambiance was relaxed and fun. The service top class. Two charming young men catered to 3 areas with perfection and smiles. The food was good too. I can recommend the carbonara. Merci à tout l'équipe
