Le Brouillarta - Réserver une table

Lors de notre séjour à l'Hôtel de la Plage, nous avons décidé d'essayer leur restaurant situé sous l'hôtel avec une entrée séparée sur la promenade. Nous avons trouvé Le Brouillarta absolument exceptionnel. Le Maître d'Fernando vénézuélien était de première classe et nous a conduits à travers la menu et carte des vins avec patience et convivialité. Les serveuses semblaient parfois un peu mal à l'aise mais étaient souriantes et très agréables. Had previously read good reviews on this restaurant and so made an evening booking - so pleased we did.The seafront view was perfect and made better for the beautiful evening sun. The service we received was excellent, friendly helpful and informed. The food was fantastic - the turbot special for the day was as good as any I have tasted anywhere. Wine list was very good - other restaurants we ate at locally had fairly restricted menus but this was great and we found a very good burgundy. Finished the meal with delicious desserts (I still can't believe just how good the whisky ice cream was) and finally with an Armagnac.Perfect evening and would thoroughly recommend.

Great food & service - the waiter helped with the course selection and wine selection after talking to us a bit. The special appetizer (mushrooms) was very nice. The fresh fish (merlu) was very tasty and the fruity gelato type dessert (inside surprise) was excellent. The place was packed but not loud. Definitely a repeat visit for us next time and a recommendation to friends any time.

We were recommended La Brouillarta by our Hotel and what a great suggestion it was.Food was inventive and that little bit different and well worth the €38 for 3 courses compared to other places we've dined at.Good wine list ,excellent service and the restaurant being right on the sea-front made for a fantastic evening.

Nous avons dîné ici parce qu'il a reçu des notes très élevées et qu'il était proche de notre hôtel (Hôtel de La Plage). Le repas n'était pas mémorable. Le personnel était un peu brusque et s'étirait pour s'occuper de toutes les tables. En plus c'est cher. Je m'attendais à beaucoup plus.

Everything from my poached cod starter, to the wonderful desert and including my main dish of merlu with lemon risotto cooked to perfection was very satisfactory.The atmosphere is elegant without being stuffy.Don't forget to book. I saw many people trying in vain to get a table.

This is a small unique restaurant. We had the "surprise" menu, which was a 5 course tasting menu. Each course tasted wonderful, and the presentation was beautiful. This is a leisurely meal, but enjoy the beautiful sunset over the sea. This is a must stop in Saint Jean de Luz.

Great view from this place. It also has very good food, although it is expensive and probably not the best in its price category. The service is good, there is a good wine-list and they have top-notch fish and desserts.

Great fine dining restaurant overlooking the sea and attached to our hotel "Hotel De la Plage" Delicious food very well cooked and very attractively presented. Very pleasant and helpful staff, will certainly return.

Best ratio price/quality on the French coast of the Basque Country!! Great wine list and the food is creative- beautiful and tasty. The service is naive and pleasant!
