After a long day of travelling I stumbled onto this unassuming looking pub. It was deceivingly unremarkable from the outside, but once inside it was stunning. It had a large patio surrounded by foliage that gave the impression of a garden. I was solo so I sat at the bar, which was well stocked with microbrews, and cocktails. I had the poisson de moment, which was a fresh locally caught sturgeon, on a bed of savoury lentils and roasted cauliflower. It was fantastic! Fabulous dining experience on a lovely patio with friendly and attentive staff. Excellent food! I has the canard et crevette. Superbly cooked and the duck was beautifully. Accompanying vegetables were fresh and delicious. My partners meal porc ribs were also delicious and well prepared. Desert was also freshly made and nicely flavored. Wish they featured a more local wine only international choices.
We stopped here on our way to Quebec City and are so glad we did; it was absolutely worth it. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely return when we get the chance. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was cozy and charming. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, ensuring that everyone in our group felt at ease, especially the little ones.
