Le Cabanon is a wonderful restaurat, located right at the enterance to Propriano Marina, Corsica.We were on a sailing vacation. just arrived at the marina after a long flight and drive, to check in our chartered boat. Le cabanon was recommended to us by the Marina manager and his right-hand worker, who said :This is the best fish and sea-food restaurant in Propriano"! Well, we didn't try them all, but we were delighted to have our first dinner there! We did not have time to reserve a table, but, although it was crowded, the staff, managed by hard-working women, found us a table for two. Très joli restaurant pour les amateurs de poissons, belle présentation des plats. Ce n'est pas bon marché mais pas grand-chose à Propriano n'est bon marché de toute façon, donc vous feriez mieux de vous habituer à payer ce genre de prix si vous voulez manger correctement en Corse. Il y a d'autres options autour mais celui-ci est certainement un bon rapport qualité-prix avec un personnel agréable et l'attention du propriétaire. Je recommanderais certainement.
Le Cabanon is situated on the east side of Propriano. So it is a little bit further from the center, one of the last restaurants in the main street along the harbor. Yet it is worth walking the extra couple of meters as this restaurant offers more value for money than some of the other restaurants of Propriano. Menu's are 25 and 31 euro. We were 13 people. So we had almost everything that was on the menu's and everybody was quite happy.
Les Moules Roquefort étaient merveilleuses. 2 personnes sur notre groupe de six ont choisi le menu fixe, comprenant une délicieuse soupe de poisson, un plat de poisson local et des desserts simples mais délicieux. Et le prix pour tout cela était très raisonnable. La vue depuis la terrasse était aussi belle que le soleil se couchait.

Bien situé avec un personnel sympathique. Le service était bon, surtout étant donné que le restaurant était bondé. La nourriture était très bonne, mais le choix était très limité, ce qui nous a poussé à manger ailleurs le dimanche soir.
The oisters where very nice and fresh. The langouste is being served with great sauce and salade. The people working there know what they do and they are very kind! Next year we will come back! Gr. Trattoria L'Olivo
Nice View on harbour, taking the menu du jour for €21 was simpel but good quality. The aquarium with fresh langousts seemed attractieve, maybe another time. Restaurant to go back when you are in Propriano
Like many restaurants in Prop the food is average, and by that I mean simple, well prepared and sensible pricing. It is not a fine dining experience but you will go home happy.

We had salmon with a polenta that was average and shrimps that were good. You can have good dinner here but it's not enjoyment.
Good food and efficient service. Reasonably priced. If you would like to have a table on the terasse it's best to reserve.
