Le Cafe des Arts

We were just happy to get a table because it was the evening of the Renaissance fair's parade and the town was hopping. What a pleasant surprise. The menu was big and it was creative, and they carried it off! Although the Asian influences were more influences than actual Asian dishes, all of our dishes were very good. I was even impressed by the "hamburgers" at a neighboring table -- a dish that I would generally completely eschew in France, but actually looked delicious (nothing like those flaccid patties, but big thick and homemade). I still probably owuldn't et a hamburger in France, but Le Cafe des Artes offers some variety from the standard french fare that (if one is a tourist and must eat out day after day) can get a touch repetitive... And the location is great.

Stopped by for lunch, very good home made cuisine at reasonable price, nice salads/first course with a taste of Asia, the burger is great. Excellent service, well situated. Highly recommendedDejeuner en famille, tres bonne cuisine maison a prix doux, bonnes salades et entrées avec une touche d'Asie, le hamburger est super. Service sympa et efficace. Je recommande.

One of the more popular restaurants in town, on the beautiful square with the towns famous fountain, so booking a table is recommended. We had a quick dinner on a weekday. Very friendly and fast service, by the waiters who speak english. Food was classic basic french bistro style. Recommended.

Looking for a quick lunch and hiding for rain. We chose Le Café des Arts because it calls itself a restaurant and not as another bar or brasserie. Service was ok (good English) and the food acceptable. Good quality/price.

Please visit this lovely restaurant. The food is wonderful! The staff is most helpful. The atmosphere is very friendly!
