Le bar animé en cette froide soirée de janvier était parfait pour prendre un verre avant le dîner avec les habitants d'Alençon qui nous ont très bien accueillis et ont partagé des commentaires sur l'actualité avec nous. Nous regrettons de ne pas avoir pu y manger pour le menu... très tentant avec des plats classiques et populaires de la cuisine française traditionnelle. Nous devons y retourner un de ces jours pour le déjeuner...
Excellent spot for some lunch. Four choices of draft beers, plus a good choice for lunchtime menu. I had the entrecote which was big and succulent, wife had the veggie option (choice of two, one of which was a simple cheese salad) which was a...three-cheese tart with chips and salad. No room for dessert! Good attentive service, food came quickly even though it was quite busy. Would definitely go again.

Trois tentatives pour obtenir une table, mais à chaque fois on nous dit que toutes les tables sont réservées, le gars derrière le bar n'est pas très sympathique. Nous ne parlons pas encore très bien français, mais cela aurait pu fonctionner si quelqu'un nous avait juste fait signe… Pour garder la place pour ses habitués, je n'utiliserais pas encore ce café. Réservez une table maintenant
Un joli petit café donne un véritable goût de la France, animé par les habitants du quartier de l'impressionnante Bourse du blé du 19ème siècle. Ce plaisir typiquement français est le parfait refuge après avoir exploré les magnifiques rues d'Alençon.
