Le Canigou - Réserver une table

Alors que mes parents et moi-même déambulions dans les charmantes rues de Villafranche par un bel après-midi d'automne, nous avons décidé d'aller déjeuner. Nous sommes arrivés dans un petit restaurant animé au soleil et nous sommes assis à une table, l'endroit était plutôt animé car peu d'autres restaurants étaient ouverts étant donné que c'était le 31 octobre, les menus sont venus assez rapidement et nous avons choisi ce que nous voulions. Après une longue attente, la serveuse est venue nous dire que la majorité du menu n'était pas disponible aujourd'hui, nous avons donc changé nos commandes rapidement pour ne pas causer plus de retard. 2 pizzas et un croq'monsieur (censé être un petit sand...

We have visited this restaurant before and although one of the waiters was extremely rude and very shouty the food was ok so today we decided to give it another go whilst visiting ville France. When we arrived at the main seating area it was a little cold and was drizzling a little so we saw 2 small tables under cover which we was happy to sit at but upon asking the rude waiter from before if we could sit there, he shouted at us that we couldn't sit there and we had to go and sit at the back on the grand tables. C'est un petit refuge fabuleux pour prendre un verre, je n'y ai pas mangé mais j'ai été très bien accueilli. Un pompier dirige cet endroit et, mon Dieu, ce sont de vrais héros ! Très sympathique, bon vin, qu'est-ce qu'il ne faut pas aimer !

This is a bar used by locals for lunch so you know it is going to be unpretentious and good value. The Catalan sausage is spicy and meaty and therefore very tasty.

Went for coffee and pastries with friends. Good quality coffee served hot, outside space is best for atmosphere.
