Le Cap Marine - Réserver une table

We ate here en route from Morbihan to Cherbourg. Booked on the overnight ferry we were looking for a restaurant reasonably close to the port, somewhere we could also walk our dog. I messaged to check the opening hours only to discover that they opened at 19:00, which was cutting things a bit fine. Happily Caroline offer to open at 18:30 to accommodate us and also emailed the menus so that we could pre order. We were not disappointed. The beach is superb for a pre dinner walk followed by a delicious meal. We’d found the restaurant on Google maps, and thankfully had directions. From the entrance you wouldn’t know that this is a superb restaurant (see the photo) Inside, the restaurant is welcoming with an enviable view of the coast, there is also a large outside terrace which would be fantastic in the summer. We each chose the ‘fish of the day’ which was beautifully presented with a wonderful mix of flavours. Dessert was a Café Gourmand a selection of desserts with an espresso coffee absolutely delicious! The restaurant was filling up as we left, in good time for the ferry thanks to Caroline.

the menu choices were excellent and the price was worth it the 3 course menu option is great the quality of the meat and fish was very high and the cooking was great and yummy the portions were just right the server was so great, she was very friendly and with a great disposition always to every customer as i observed her. the desserts were also delicious

I did say I would Wright a review . we did enjoy owner selfs the food was very good not a heavy meal but filling with some very nice touches .little picks to start showed you cared and we speak little French thankyou

First impressions from the outside do not look inviting. But once in side the views and the food are outstanding. The Mussels and seafood is fresh and very tasty, also try galetts.

Nice and cosy place at the coast, great view on the ocean and very authentic and regional specialties.
