It was tipping it down with rain tonight in Millau. This was the first place open that I came to after leaving my hotel beside the station. I was desperate for food. The barman/ manager poured me a beer but warned that food was not served til 7pm it was only just 6.20 but I was out of the rain and I was staying put. I was the only person in, not surprising given the weather. The barman brought me a second small beer on the house, my reward for being patient about the food. When the chef arrived, he brought me a menu, took my order early and re seated me into the restaurant. Then, another freebie, a selection of nibbles before my starter arrived. Very welcome, delicious, and soon dispatched this was served to all the other diners who had since arrived. My mushroom starter with butternut squash, tomato/ pepper, and salad leaf accompaniments were beautifully presented and very tasty. My entrecôte steak was a joy, served with perfectly cooked al dente vegetables the very attentive chef came to enquire whether the steak was to my liking. Way too full for a desert or coffee!! The rain having caused me to abandon any attempt to explore the town, the barman obliged with a bottle of wine, cork removed, to take back to the hotel for the evening!! One very satisfied customer!!
Early evening meal menu du jour still available , 4 meals quite ordinary but served with a smile by an obviously tired waiter who nevertheless went through with patience our menu choices from the food available. When it came nothing to write home about, and beer a Leffe 50 cl 7.60 carafes @6.70 4 m jour 63.20 would we go back on balance no.
Probably One of the best restaurant Lounge in Millau, i personally thanks the chief Yousef and Oceane, and the team Youri and Marina for the dishes and their kindness. The five star reflects the ambiance, dishes, quality, and professionalism. I also tasted the different top quality coctails, a good place to listen music too
3 of us are dinner 2 adults and a kid with 1 entrée, one plat, and one fixed menu and 25 CL of wine. Our bill was €90. We had just come from Paris and ate (and drank) much better for less there. The waiter was really friendly and made the experience enjoyable the only reason I'm not giving 1 or 2 stars.
