I was on a trip back from Switzerland with a colleague and arrived in the region of Vesoul in the evening. We found the address of the retaurant with a search on our mobile phone, rerserved a table and stopped by. The entry door does not really invite to enter, but once you have passed the door you discover a very charming atmosphere in an old renovated building. The restaurant is clean, open kitchen - thing I always appreaciate and about 8 to 10 tables in a small dining area. There is appearantly also a terasse, but given the season and time, it was closed.The menu offer is good and prizes are affordable. We went for a full menu for 37,- eur. The dishes were nicely dressed, everything was fresh and tasty well. Service kind and helpfull, allthough sometimes a bit lost.All in all a very pleasant stop in Vesoul!
I had dinner there while visiting family in the area. The room is lovely - although it would look even better without the slightly tacky golden angel hanging from the ceiling. We had two waitresses; one was polite but not particularly pleasant, the other was very pleasant and efficient. The wine was good. I had a salade comtoise for starter and salmon for main, both very nice. All 3 of us would have liked more vegetables on our plate though. I tried the 3 mousses dessert - delicious. A bit expensive, but not outrageous given the quality of the food.
Having found Les 5 sens shut we came here and were glad we did. The restaurant feels like it's in a cave which was fun and it is well appointed. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The service was attentive, friendly but not intrusive, A thoroughly enjoyable evening and we wouldn't hesitate to come back if in Vesoul again.
This restaurant was a great discovery, elaborate and perfectly mastered cuisine, pearly cod just perfect. Room a bit noisy, certainly due to the configuration, simple and pleasant service.
