We were staying for five nights in Arromanches and had already eaten on two occasions in the 6 Juin and once in La Rapaille so we were looking for an alternative choice.It is fair to say that it was a little disconcerting when we approached La Celina to find it totally empty yet the 6 Juin just across the street appeared to be really busy. However we decided to give it a try mainly because our 14 yr old wanted pizza and it was on the menu.I have to say we had a nice meal two pizzas and an omelette not exactly exciting choices but what we wanted at that time and all well presented and enjoyable.The prices are also very fair.Few small observations would be that perhaps some background music would help and also a more simplified menu.
Sorry to be a party pooper but I found the menu rather limited and not very exciting. Nice staff but after going twice we won't be going back.It is quite expensive as well for what you get. I didn't feel I got for money really. No atmosphere to speak of.The restaurant opposite called Juin 6 is much better and we went there too. Buzzy,good food,reasonable,good choices of menus. Much better.
Great ambience, very friendly welcome, excellent decor and setting. The food was well made and presented and well priced. We arrived before the place filled up and very quickly and the waiting staff went into a mini tail spin. Well meaning and pleasant the normally patient patrons did become agitated by the slow haphazard service. You have an excellent establishment, improve the service.
Our kids craved a pizza following a trip to the museum and beach. It was very good. Surprising really and we are used to proper Italian pizzas. I had the Gratin 3 poissions which was good and my dad had the omelette, also good. Drinks were the usual overpriced fayre at nearly 4€ for a Coke...
