Le Cellier - Réserver une table

If you find yourself in Bar Sur Aube, I highly recommend a visit to the Cellier. The setting is in a roman cave cellar that is set back from the main street. You will actually see a ruin of the same type of cellar near by. It is very local and features a good selection of dishes from fish, meat and local specialty. I went there with friends who live in a nearby village where I was staying. You descend down a narrow staircase that opens up to the room with the unique ceilings and it is very open and spacious. I had the escargot and steak. Both were very delicious. Service was attentive and the price overall was reasonable.

Nous avons de nouveau visité le Cellier lors de notre voyage. Nous avons passé une bonne soirée et la nourriture était correcte, certains plats étaient les mêmes que deux ans auparavant. Le Cromesqui et la Truite du menu découverte du terroir sont fortement recommandés. La réservation est obligatoire car le restaurant était complet lors de notre visite. Le service est un peu lent, mais avec seulement deux serveurs, ce n'est pas leur faute et ils ont fait de leur mieux. L'emplacement est toujours l'un de mes préférés, l'ambiance est très très bonne.

Very good selection of food and everything we tried was excellent. The wine list is very good and well priced. Atmosphere also very good. This is definitely a very nice restaurant to visit when in bar-sur-aube.

This is a lovely restaurant, steeped in history, the food is excellent and the service is also excellent. Well worth planning your time in bar sur Aube, around a meal here.

We visited two weeks ago for a dinner. Was great. The food was very tasty especially my rump steak and the cheese!! We will be back
