Après une visite à St Savin, le bâtiment de l'abbaye qui abritait un restaurant m'a donné envie d'explorer un peu plus. Quelle belle surprise ! Un cadre magnifique, un service impeccable et un menu qui a ravi nos papilles. Nous nous sommes également laissés guider par le choix de vin en harmonie avec nos plats. Merci de nous avoir offert un moment exceptionnel qui s'est terminé dans une ambiance très conviviale (merci à Léo). Nous garderons d'excellents souvenirs de cette expérience et nous ne manquerons pas de revenir si nous sommes de nouveau dans la région. A warm setting with a top team, attentive and very professional. As for the cuisine, it’s a pure delight, Foie gras, scallops propel you into a cuisine of excellence. Absolute gem of a place in a sleepy and historic village of St Savin. Part of the Abbey has been converted into a restaurant. The chefs are young and eager, same with the staff. The wine is clearly displayed and prices displayed-for you to make your choices. Un endroit très agréable avec une excellente cuisine pour un déjeuner en famille. L'entrée, les plats et la pâte de fruits maison ont été très appréciés. Le seul point négatif sont les desserts. Très belle expérience dans cet endroit chargé d'histoire. Le menu déjeuner à 29 € est vraiment très bon. Plats de qualité, belle présentation. Juste une déception avec le café à 3,50 € qui n'était pas vraiment à la hauteur (peut-être un réglage de la machine...). Nourriture : 5 Service : 4 Atmosphère : 4
Excellent restaurant. Lunch with a view of the river in an enchanting setting. The weather was loathsome but the atmosphere so warm that the sadness of the world never entered the room. The prime rib is quite exceptional. A very good address. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
