Port Leucate is a large holiday complex in south west France. People go their especially to windsurf, sail and to enjoy everything that seaside living has the offer. Happened on Le Cesario just strolling along the quai in Port Leucate reading menus at lunchtime and thought the blackboard prix fixe of mixed fish looked interesting. So we had that and a veal escalope in a white sauce with tagliatelle. Both were excellent but there was waaaay too much food! But that adds to the value, of course. Waiter Jonathan was super and when complimented on his English told us he had spent time in New York and Miami and was altogether very personable with being in any way pushy. His service added immensely to the really very good lunch. Seeing other reviews about excellent pizza, I'm just heading downstairs from our apartment to get one to go!
Je ne suis pas sûr que nous devrions vous parler de cet endroit car il y a toujours une file d'attente pour une table le soir et devoir sentir les merveilleux arômes en attendant peut être infernal! Ce sont de superbes pizzas - croûte fine avec beaucoup de garnitures, brûlantes et extrêmement savoureuses. Les autres plats du menu (pâtes, salades, etc.) sont tout aussi bons, mais pour moi, c'est l'endroit où aller pour la pizza.
Malgré l'affluence (compréhensible), le service était rapide, très sympathique et même en anglais si j'en avais besoin. Les portions étaient généreuses à des prix raisonnables, pas d'arnaque malgré la position en bord de mer. Les fruits de mer étaient frais et les pizzas bien garnies et énormes. Je recommande vivement.

small pizzeria well located on the port of port leucate. It's simple, but very good! service is good and fast assrz despite the high season.Pizza very good (sea fruit) and wine also. We enjoyed the strong pleasant personality of the boss. We'll be back!
Tant la nourriture que le service sont très bons. Le pain à pizza est fin et croustillant et la garniture est riche et délicieuse. Les pâtes et les moules sont également très bons.
We have been here many times and are treated like family. Excellent choices and great location. Cesario is nearly always full which says it all.
