Le Chardon - Réserver une table

We were on our way from Toulouse to Mirepoix, we were hungry, there was nothing on the main road except for dreadful filling station cafés, and it was after 2pm. We were obviously in danger of missing lunch altogether, so at random we took the exit for Montgiscard and discovered Le Chardon right in the middle of this very sleepy town. But they had two of the day's specials left...veal, and some string beans, all for €9.80. Not the best meal I have ever had, but totally satisfactory and very reasonable, with friendly service. What's not to like?

Lieu sympathique service rapide , le midi menu entrées plats desserts un quart de vin et café entrée et dessert buffet à volonté )le tout pour 13 € 80. Établissement bien tenu à recommander.

13,80€ le menu du midi avec buffet d'entrées et de desserts à volonté plat 1/4 vin café. La patronne est très sympa et accommodante. Très bon rapport qualité-prix

Excellente table, cuisine familiale pour un tarif plus que raisonnable dans un joli village à proximité de Toulouse et du canal du midi.
