Absolutely go but be prepared for light and shade. After two visits : As beautiful as everyone says if not more so. Service changeable from visit one which was hurried but efficient to visit two when the lady of the house was gracious and charming and helpful. Food a step above the usual nos spécialités Savoyardes, both in the range, quality of ingredients and detail of preparation. An aperitif in the garden with the sun shining down is worth a long journey.But it was a step not a leap. You'll find this place at the bottom of the Fouilette de Golfe lift but don't go to the lift which is on the right hand side as you ski down, take a left and ski through the tunnel. You'll see the sign almost immediately on your right hand side. It's just tucked out of the way. One of our party had eaten here before and had the foresight to book ahead. The restaurant got very busy when we were there. We have already booked again for the half term week with our son as it was so nice. It's in beautiful surroundings and has a varied menu. C'est un restaurant charmant mais il y a beaucoup de monde très vite, donc ça vaut toujours la peine de réserver à l'avance. Nous étions un groupe de 10 assis dehors au soleil, donc la pré-réservation était absolument nécessaire pour nous. En ce qui concerne le coût, ce n'est pas l'endroit idéal pour une collation bon marché (où se trouve la montagne ? mais plutôt une cuisine raffinée. Cela dit, certains vins étaient à des prix très raisonnables (ce qui est très rare en montagne ! et très bon. Personnellement, j'ai eu un risotto fantastique et tous les autres repas avaient l'air très bien aussi. Une tartiflette savoyarde doit se suffire à elle-même et ne pas être modernisée à mon avis.
La nourriture est délicieuse et le service est excellent une fois que vous avez une table. Cependant, cet endroit ne semble pas savoir comment gérer les réservations. Deux fois récemment, nous sommes arrivés à l'heure pour notre réservation, pour être accueillis par un hôte très visible et stressé qui nous a demandé d'être patients... au bar, car ils n'avaient pas de tables. Nous avons attendu presque une heure à chaque fois. Nous n'étions pas les seuls, même le samedi midi, de nombreux groupes étaient affamés, confus voire même mécontents. Nous ne reviendrons pas le week-end. Pour être honnête, nous éviterons probablement complètement cet endroit pour le moment.

We travel to Les Gets a couple of times a year and have only just discovered this amazing place just above the village. The staff were excellent and the food superb. For lunch it was amazing and we could so easily have settled in for the afternoon. I think we will have to stay there on our next visit. The gentleman who runs it was so lovely with my daughter who had received a nasty shock fall on a particularly horrible red (chamossiere) and he gave her the encouragement she needed to get back on the skis. We will definitely be back.
Fantastic lunch. I had onion soup which was lovely although a couple of us ordered salad which didn't show up. Overall the food and service was great The setting is amazing and the atmosphere was ideal for a very memorable lunch with friends. We all got a bit out of hand and ended up singing songs with a group of locals. The owner came over and asked if everything was ok and told us he was very happy to see us having so much fun, which was a nice touch as we left singing to continue our singing on the slopes ⛷
La nourriture était excellente, mais le service était vraiment mauvais. C'est la basse saison et le restaurant n'était pas plein. Nous avons attendu 15 minutes avant qu'un serveur vienne vers nous après avoir été demandé. Personne n'est venu nous demander si nous allions bien ou avions besoin de plus de boissons. Réfléchissez à deux fois si vous voulez être bien pris en charge.
12 of us had lunch here yesterday. About 5 hours later, three of us were violently sick. We think that the caesar salad and burgers were to blame. The food poisoning follows a fairly unsatisfactory meal: we had to wait a long time for our food, and the staff were surly and unhelpful. Avoid!!

This was our best find for lunch on the slopes. Away from the crowds, beautiful decor, ambient music, overall lovely surroundings. Friendly staff who excelled in customer service. Great food, the onion soup was fab, as were everyone else's meals. And all very reasonably priced.
