Quelle déception ! Autant la nuit au Château de Rey et son petit déjeuner le lendemain étaient de qualité, autant la soirée du Nouvel An reste une énigme : y avait-il un chef en cuisine ? Car à 80 €/personne, on s'attend tout de même à un repas imaginé et présenté avec soin par un chef, comme les belles photos affichées sur leur site web, avec de la finesse en termes de saveurs et une carte des vins bien pensée... en résumé, un repas festif ! Au lieu de cela... la finesse de l'huître a été gâchée par un goût de moutarde, une vulgaire tranche de pain blanc accompagnait un foie gras mal déveiné et flasque, les morceaux de gigot d'agneau étaient bien cuits et savoureux mais servis avec 2 pommes...

Nous avons passé le réveillon du Nouvel An dans ce restaurant et avons été très déçus par le seul menu proposé à 80 euros par personne, qui ne reflétait pas nos attentes tant en termes de plats offerts que de leur présentation. Le seul avantage est que nous logions à côté. C'est d'autant plus décevant que les images des plats sur le site internet du restaurant sont plutôt appétissantes... Dommage... Je confirme donc que je reste sur une impression de verre à moitié vide... Et bonne année quand même !
