Found Le Chaudron facing down a little side street to the main thoroughfare. The welcome was friendly, and the dining area is open with typical French country eclectic decor. A good sign was that on a Monday lunch the restaurant was full, with quite a few farm workers and office people, so it was going to be good value. I tried their own Saut-du-Doubs cocktail (Champagne and cherry liqueur) which was delightful. They failed to bring my wife's Kir, but no problems as our beers arrived straight away, as did our starters. I had the Menu Chasseur, Wild Boar terrine followed by Venison stew and then a choice from the desert trolley (Tart Tropizienne). All were nicely presented and tasty, and good...
