Le Cheval Blanc

I was not sure to award two or three stars. Everything is ok. But does not warrant a Logis three star rating. It was unfortunate that we stayed the previous night in a hotel which I have given a 5* rating. We dined on full board package offered by Brittany Ferries. The worst point was the evening meal. Upon reflection, it was just a poor meal with a very limited choice. Only two options available in both starter and main courses. We sampled all available and we agreed every one was poor and ranks in the bottom three of many meals enjoyed in France. The service was very outdated and does not compare with very excellent hoteliers we have met in France. Even though the service was given by two individuals in their 20”s or 30”s. The meal was the most expensive on this trip to France. It is very obvious that neither have benefited from working in a range of hotels to develop a successful style. The hotel lies within an exclusive group, were we would never consider a return visit.

Chambre correct lit confortable Problème petit déjeuner médiocre pour 13 euros un peu cher car pas de chocolat chaud, le serveur pas très présent pour le petit déjeuner

Hôtel charmant, décoré avec soin et originalité. Accueil chaleureux. La table vaut le détour, repas excellent, très bons produits du terroir, personnel attentionné.

Notre chambres etait propre et confortable. Petit-déjeuner très bon, beaucoup de produits maison. Espace piscine très agréable.
