This restaurant has it's place. If you're on a tighter budget, then here you can get reasonably priced paninis, crepes, burgers and pizzas etc. Its pretty much all outside seating though, so maybe not one if your reason for having a stop is to warm up. The service is never fantastic and the food isn't anything to write home about, but when all you want is a quick cheap lunch, for me it ticks the box.
This is the worst of French ski catering. A very grumpy waiter , who expected us to order without seeing a menu, slow service and a limited choice which seemed to have everything off when we arrived at 2pm . Ordered our meal and one dish came after we'd finished everything else. A half decent chèvre panini but won't be stopping here again . Dirty tables, smelly and wet toilets.
Only had morning hot drinks so can only judge Le Chrismaran on that basis. It has a good location for a pit stop at Mottaret 1750 near the Arolles chairlift. It has a small inside but larger outside veranda. Waiter Gontrand was slow and not overly friendly but the Hot Chocolates were generous, reasonable at €3.50 and very nice. Bar does not have its own toilets.
Service très lent. 30 minutes pour être remarqué, puis 15 minutes pour avoir le café. Si votre temps de ski est précieux, ne venez pas ici. Si vous voulez quelque chose de rapide, allez juste au stand de restauration à côté, en fait c'est le même propriétaire, ...vous aurez votre nourriture plus rapidement et vous pourrez vous asseoir où vous voulez. Réservez une table maintenant
Nourriture à prix raisonnable (paninis/burgers/pizzas, etc.) dans un bon emplacement juste à côté des remontées mécaniques de Mottaret. Attendez-vous donc à une attente pour le service à l'heure du déjeuner. Globalement, un repas pas cher et joyeux qui vous rassasie pour un après-midi sur les pistes
If you just want some quick food and drink, this place is not all bad. The snack and chocolate drink are actually not bad for the price. Don't expect good service from the staff. It is supposed to be quick fast food snack place anyway. You will get what you paid for.
This is always our preferred mid-morning beer stop - great location, bustling environment and VERY cheap (as far as mountain prices go) beer - 5.40 for a serieux (Grand bierre) compared with 7.20 upwards anywhere else. Care for another?...don't mind if I do!
J'ai pris le plat du jour plus un dessert pour 19 euros. J'ai également commandé un vin chaud à 4,5 euros. Le repas était copieux et délicieux. Le restaurant était complet. Le service était un peu lent. Réservez une table maintenant
Stopped here for a quick drink whilst visiting mottaret. Lovely outdoor seating area, perfect for watch the skiers on the slope. Food and drink also all reasonably priced.
