Après un trajet raisonnable, chaud, affamé et assoiffé sur des vélos de route. Le café et la personne attendant dans le restaurant n'étaient pas enthousiasmés par deux cyclistes, alors nous avons essayé Le Cigalon (qui semblait assez chic par rapport aux deux autres endroits)... Le Cigalon nous a accueillis, nous a trouvé une belle table pour deux à l'ombre, et nous a offert un excellent déjeuner en 3 services, avec une belle salade verte pour commencer, puis un jambon et une joue séparée, le tout accompagné de bière fraîche et d'une petite carafe de vin rosé local. Together with my boyfriend we decided to indulge a french crêpe. I never thought that it is even possible to mess up a pancake served in a crêperie. Not to mention that we are talking about a national French dish ordered in France! We had...a crêpe sucrée and crêpe Grand Marnier. Both were gummy, gluey, tasteless, not buttery....just DISGUSTING!! The one with Grand Marnier was around €7 a price you pay for barely any liquor in it. Next day we bought some crêpes from Casino (french super market chain) which tasted amazing compared to this plastic stuff served in the so called restaurant. My advise, just spend your money elsewhere.
We were having a drink next door and we're looking at the Cigalon. We went there for dinner and ordered a Gambas/octopus grill, salmon and frog legs : delicious !!! For desert we got chocolate Fondant : wowwww We met the family owner, romain and...mother (the cook) and sister. Go go there it s simple , fresh , good and on budget. Congratulations !!! We will be back . By the way, just opposite the beautiful church of Ramatuelle where Johnny Halliday got married and many more for the record. Cheers to Cigalon
Lovely staff all able to speak English with a charming French accent making we Australian tourists feel more at ease with the French menu. The moules farcie a la Provençal was to die for. Best restaurant moules or mussels I have had. Small restaurant, cozy...feel amid a 13th century village.( our favourite) Similarly the ravioli was creamy mushroom. YUM. Please try. Chef really knows how to cook lovely French comfort foods. Inexpensive. We shall return. Tres bon!

Nous avons passé quelques jours à Ramatuelle ! Bel endroit que nous recommandons gentiment ! Le Cigalon c'est un des plus beaux restaurants super service, super chef et une ambiance très sympa ! Les propriétaires sont merveilleux et cela se ressent dans votre repas ! Même si... vous avez une allergie, vous serez traité avec tout le respect et l'attention ! Sweet little place in the old town of Ramatuelle. Menu is pretty middle of the road and the food is ok at best. Very friendly and welcoming service staff. Seating is outside and charming. I am raving about this place but it has its place...away from all the tourists traps down the road. Pricing is ok at best! They have to make a living I guess
Nous avons choisi ce restaurant pour le petit-déjeuner et n'avons pas été déçus par les pancakes avec jus frais et une boisson chaude pour 9€. Très raisonnable et situé dans le quartier animé, on peut vraiment sentir la vie autour !
we had the Caesar salat, krepp and the French tapas. it was nice to eat in a perfect little caffe in the beautiful village ramatuelle. the personal was super friendly and we enjoyed our holding place on the way around.

Nous sommes retournés à Cigalon : tagine de saumon, bar sauvage, salade fraîcheur, saumon fumé. Très bon, sain. Service familial excellent, allez y et profitez-en :)
