We were driving to Chateauroux and decided to stop for dinner in Moulins. We chose this restaurant looking at the Michelin guide. We went to the restaurant and not the brasserie and the chef came to see us to help us choose the food. A very nice man, an artist who makes you feel welcome. The decoration is classical and typically French, I am hoping to try the hotel next time.We went for an Entrecote which was amazing. The wine list is beautiful. GO!
The restaurant is located in a beautiful building which also has hotel rooms, although we didn't stay there. The menu is copious and, as in the old days, you should plan to spend close to two hours for your meal. Each course is preceded by a small in-between dish to whet your appetite. The choice of wines is excellent, and the service is impeccable.
