on a Friday morning in carcassone we checked the Facebook page of the restaurant to find that they were open for lunch, so we drove to Camplong-d'Aude. in the restaurant we found it abandoned, except a coworker who informed us that they are normal open, but on this day they were closed due to an off-site catering job. ok, maybe we should have made a reservation, but it would be nice if they updated their Facebook feed to inform about such closures. we have booked for the following day off and we had a very pleasant lunch in the did so that before our departure we booked lunch with the waitress for the following Thursday, our last lunch in France during this trip. when we arrived at the restaurant, there were only one person who informed us that they were closed for an off-site assignment. we told him we had a reservation for lunch. he asked us who we made the reservation and when we told him about the waitress, he checked the reservation book and there it was! I have the impression that, as this was outside the season, they can briefly deepen in the practice of closing when a lucrative off-site job comes. we received a gallic carpet of the shoulders and little over the apology. we left us with a bad taste in our mouth, in contrast to the taste of eating when they can get it.
