Le Comptoir des Templiers

High ceiling, chandeliers, napkins and all a fancy setting! With this when we visited the average age of the clients must have been in the A traditional, classy place. The food is also very classic and more traditional, with cream and butter, both...of which are seen less and less in the contemporary cuisine in urban areas, or from my (limited) personal experience. The dishes are prepared very carefully even very hot and we should not touch, as we were reminded a couple times and I must say that they were all delicious! Especially wonderful was the supreme de volaille, with the meat being super tender and visually inviting. Bravo. So for those who appreciate classic French cuisine with professionalism and classy feel, it’s a great place. In addition, if you are used to Parisian prices, this place is a bargain! It was good for me but lacks surprises or inspirations of the century contemporary feel

In Noyon for the evening and dinner was needed. This was one of the (few) recommendations of the host of the B&B I was staying in. It was already a bit late when I set off but the restaurant was still quite full and dinner...was still being served (lucky for me). With no reservation I was still found a table. I had the "Formule du Templiers" and a bottle of house wine, with a total of euros. Perhaps a little pricey for the offering, but everything I had was quite nice, including the wine. Given the recommendation, and having looked at (but not eaten in) a couple of the other restaurants in town, I'd say that this is indeed one of the better choices available

We arrived in Noyon, just as the cahthdral was closing for lunch. The woman locking the gates suggested we go around the corner to Le Comptoir Des Templiers for lunch and come back to walk around the cathedral after we'd eaten. It was a very...nice recommendation. This is a very modern restaurant inside, with a bar. The table amenities are quite basic, paper placemats and silverware in a little paper pouch. However the lunch was very good and quite inventive. We chose a "formula" and felt it was good cuisine for a reasonable price. The pace was slow enough that by the time we finished eating, the cathedral was open again

I went for a business lunch . The menu of the day was excellent . I took a vegetable soup and the fisch choice in the menu. Service and food was excellent . The wine 'Chablis' they proposed was excellent . I will go back...if i am in the neighborhood

This restaurant is no more. Closed down and been taken over by a wine bar tapas bar. Pity as we struggled to find anywhere open on a bank holiday Monday
