This is a chain restaurant with nice staff, nice decor. Had evening meal here. Last meal of our holiday. Beer good, also frites, mayonnaise and creme brûlée (delicious). Recommend choosing off the set menu. My husband did and had a chicken in mushroom sauce dish, which he enjoyed. I didn’t order from set menu and had Beef Carbonade. I needed to add a lot of salt to make it palatable. Both our dishes arrived luke warm. They were reheated when we asked. Children’s menu was free of charge; frites and mayonnaise were nice, battered cod was fairly dry and quite tough. Waffle also fairly dry. These were both left half eaten. Staff very pleasant and asked if we enjoyed the meal. I tried to express my thoughts but my French not good, (to my shame).
This is a brasserie with a nice range of dishes, including some from Alsace. They also have a brewhouse and offer beer flights (small glasses of various different beers from their menu). Went here twice and enjoyed the food both times, though felt the French dishes were overall better than the fish and chips and burgers. Recommended.
One of the best place to eat in Noyon. The food is good and is traditional from North of France. They have also great special beers. The place is often fully booked, so I advise you to make a reservation, especially during weekends. The only negative point would be that the restaurant is really big, which makes it impersonal.
Newly oppened in Noyon, there is always a lot's of people in it, and it's really loudy. The food was tasty, but not so hard to cook by yourself, so it's a little bit too expensive for what it is... But the worst of it, I was sick after eating dessert (strawberries with cream). I never tried again, but maybe it's worth it.
