"Popped in after a shopping trip to the market. Set menu for 18 euros. Each course was beautiful presented and just the right portico to be able to enjoy each course. A carafe if house red completed a very enjoyable experience. Will certainly be returning."

Lunch booked over the Web so we could check we could take our dogs. Very efficient and friendly. Superb 17 euro lunch - crostini with rich tomato sauce, ham, cheese and tapenade served with a very nice salad. All beautifully presented. Main was beef, cooked to perfection with saute potatoes, and veg. Delicious. But the crowning glory was the dessert - a big bowl filled with a soft yet crunchy meringue topped with strawberries blueberries blackberries and raspberries and a light vanilla chantilly. Wow. Lovely house wine perfect for lunchtime. Service was fun and friendly telling us we had chosen well coming today as everything was delicious - better than tomorrow when we're closed! Just a perfect lunch menu. Thank you.

Took a pair of ex-pats here for a classic French Sunday lunch – on arrival pleased to see that the restaurant was ‘Complet’. Nothing pretentious about the place, no table linen for instance, just excellent cooking with friendly service, although the two waitresses were only just managing to cope – pieces of French toast dropped on serving a starter were not replaced. The day’s special, a cod dish, was superb as were the steaks ordered by the unadventurous. Starters to a similar high standard, particularly the fish soup. Short wine list with reasonable prices, including an excellent Burgundy.Don’t be put off by the ‘shop front’ appearance, this restaurant represents real value for money.

Having read the reviews previously on this restaurant my wife and I decided at the last minute to go for an early lunch here. Whilst making a reservation is clearly recommended based on the number of other customers who also came for lunch, we were lucky enough to get a table. Do not be put off by the outside of the restaurant which to some could seem like a British cafe and make sure you go inside. Once in, you are met by a clean, well presented and cosy restaurant and polite staff. The three course quality lunch and wine were excellent and good value for money. I would thoroughly recommend the restaurant and we will be back.

This place is as good as it gets in this area. Great food, friendly and helpful people, good location - what more could one ask for? Well, I'll tell you, if there is nothing you like on the menu the chef (who speaks excellent English) will do his darnedest to rustle you up something to your tastes - now you really can't ask for more than that.
