This is a very nice restaurant. They speak excellent English. We enjoyed our meal sitting outside on a Monday for lunch. It’s a pre fix menu with a few choices. For the appetizer we opted for the “seafood “. My husband liked it better than I did, because it tasted like squid to me. For the main course, we picked the Merlu. It was a wonderful white fish course. For dessert, the fruit cheesecake. We also had a 50 CL of rose wine. It was also very tasty. Our meals totaled 30 E for both of us. We can highly recommend eating here if you ever find yourself in Jonzac.
This little restaurant never disappoints it's one of our favourites in France. We went there twice during the four days we stayed in Jonzac for dinner and the plat du jour. Both meals were amazing. What we love is that you never know what you're actually going to get until it is served and whatever you have ordered tastes out of the world. A real little gem can't wait to go again but it won't be until next year! Thank you to the chef and the lovely waitress who served us who helped me with my French and I hope I helped her with her English! Merci beaucoup!
The food here is marvellous. There isn't a huge choice but what they serve is superbly cooked and leaves you wondering when you can next visit. The three course meal costs €29 and 50cl of a good house rose wine was €9. Lunch is excellent value too. The two young ladies serving were excellent, being friendly, polite and efficient, with not a Gallic shrug in sight, unlike one or two other restaurants in the town. The restaurant is well decorated and clean. You will not be disappointed.
The food here is absolutely incredible! My husband and I are regulars, and we're never disappointed, whether it's the appetizers, main course, or desserts – it's always perfect. The service here is wonderful. Everything is clean and well-maintained. The space is limited. Make sure to take an appointment before you come!
