This was a lunchtime stop after several hours on the road in driving snow! We had ahead a late ferry, so decided to have a 'proper' lunch. Road works in Rouen altered our plans and we ended up in Isneauville - just outside Rouen - by accident. What luck! Lunchtime menu was either E13.50 (2 courses) or E19.00. ( 3 courses) We could mix and match from a range of starters, mains and desserts. Some more luxurious than others. We had rabbit with apricot sauce - it came with fries and a little salad. Absolutely delicious. Then a creme brulee - superb - just the right amount of richness and plenty of vanilla. Service was charming - efficient - and without delay. We found this entirely by complete chance, looking for another! It does not look great from the outside, in between 2 others, but the interior is lovely, with the walls lined with old books and pictures and photos from the 1930s. Unusual in style , small in size, but welcoming and charming. We loved it.It is very handy from the motorway, near to Rouen, so for us ideal and half way through our journey. Lovely place to go to in what seems to us to a bleak area of restaurants easy to get to outside the city.The menu du jour was good and well cooked. Good value and we were very well looked after. I Look forward to going back there again
This has to be the third time we've eaten at this little restaurant. It is perfectly located, just off the motorway north of Rouen. Saves you having to try to park and choose a restaurant in the city. And once again, we had a fabulous lunch. Starters were salmon terrine (him), and quail terrine (me). Followed by trout with almonds. Lightly fried, then scattered with toasted almonds. Basted with Buttery and lemony juice , and served with freshly cooked veg and rice . Utterly delicious. And the price was also reasonable. Can really recommend.
D'un très bon prix de qualité, vous pouvez aller les yeux fermés.... accueil chaleureux par le manager vous serez là comme à la maison. Petit apéritif agréable dans un fauteuil confortable à côté de la cheminée... Le seul problème, c'est que nous le prenons très rapidement. La nourriture est d'excellente qualité.... raffinée et très bien assaisonnée.

D'un très bon rapport qualité prix, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.....accueil chaleureux par la gérante vous y serez comme à la maison. Petit apéritif sympa dans un douillet fauteuil à côté de la cheminée.....Le seul soucis c'est qu'on y prend très vite gout. La nourriture est d'excellente qualité.....raffinée et très bien assaisonnée.
La chambre fait une boutique d'antiquités à partir de laquelle une impression poussiéreux. Il n'y avait rien de ouvert. un rapport qualité prix mauvais. J'ai cherché le saumon au milieu de la tagliatella.
un grand restaurant ne s'inquiète pas d'accessibilité au handicap, autrement très bon restaurant très sympathique et personnel très belle qualité prix correct
