Had dinner here this evening. The starter was fine, cured meat and different cheeses. One of us then had a chicken burger with potatoes the burger was 4 thin dry slices of chicken breast with a slice of cheese and onion. It was dull,...dry and the potatoes were really bad. The other one had duck breast which was stiff, the skin not crispy and the meat was badly cooked. Other guests had nice salads as it looked. We were disappointed.
Absolutely recommend this restaurant, the food is excellent and everything you’d expect from a French restaurant. The ambience is also amazing and the location is in the village of Venosc which is very nice too. I visited twice, both times with the guides from a...local white water rafting company Integral Rafting and I suppose if the locals eat there it must be good and it was!
Beau petit restaurant, délicieuse raclette. Familial (tous très accueillants et amicaux, ont toléré notre tentative de parler français avec grande patience et humour), on se sentait comme si on vivait vraiment une expérience de repas dans un village français authentique que nous recommandons de venir manger ici.
Dinner here with friends on chalet hosts' night off. Typical family run French village restaurant. Food was delicious especially the wonderful French Onion Soup. Lots of local cheesy style dishes including raclette, fondue etc all very good and plentiful. Extremely friendly service. Highly...recommend. Réservez une table maintenant
Stéphane est un bon hôte et le Dolilou est en train de devenir l'un de nos restaurants préférés... Nous ne sommes jamais déçus et recommandons chaleureusement ce restaurant à tous ceux qui souhaitent bien manger et profiter d'une bonne soirée ou d'un long déjeuner.
Nous avons mangé ici plusieurs fois lors de notre séjour à Venosc et le steak est incroyable. Délicieux et bien cuit. Le personnel est sympathique et même divertit notre magnifique français! Le service était rapide, mais pas pressé. Restaurant très convivial.
Quel excellent restaurant et quelle belle famille qui le gère. La cuisine est excellente tout comme le service. Sylvan et sa femme accueillent tout le monde comme de la famille. Le canard au menu est à tomber par terre. Incontournable pour dîner à Vénosc.

visited this beautiful restaurant with family and friends during our ski holiday. the food was delicious and the service was excellent. recommend the escargot and the mont d’Or (for 2 people)....delicious!
