Le Feu- Der Flammkuchen

Recently I found myself in Celle again on a combined business/pleasure trip. Already having eaten at Schweine Schulze (see review there), this time we headed to Le Feu.Le Feu is situated in an old Fachwerkhaus, but that is not too unexpected as in Celle the old character and hauses have been preserved. That is until the socialist party got a majority in the city council and started to demolish old hauses. I think they were voted out before they could damage more than one street that is now an eyesore in Celle.Anyway, back to Le Feu. As the name already indicates there is a bit of a French influence, which translates itself to a lot of dishes with an Alsacian/Lorraine influence like the Elzas...

First of all a very interesting experience. Found at TripAdvisor to be number one restaurant in Celle. Located in city center old town. At first glance it looks like a bar and pizza taverna. But it much more unique. We had some quality beers and various dishes from the main menu as well as desserts / sweets accommodated with easy consumable fluids. In short, it was a superb meal and social event which the entire team enjoyed a lot. Will be back when in Celle again. Personnel all very friendly, quick and service oriented - good, keep on smiling!

Loved my dining experiece at this great little restaurant. Le Feu is well known for its french/german flat bread pizzas - and it doesnt disappoint. When your food arrives it is hot, the bread absolutely paper thin and delicious with fresh toppings of your choice. The menu has a great selection so theres something for everyone. The waitstaff are patient and kind and timely with your order.The dessert flat breads are also not to be missed! absolutely delicious!

The Flammkuchen are no doubt delicious. Many choices and I am sure everybody will find one or more of their liking. I have to say however that I do not completely understand the no. 1 rating in Celle. We tried several restaurants and found it better that this restaurant. Service was very friendly but the place itself is not the most attractive restaurant to spend an evening with for example your loved one Réservez une table maintenant

The day was very hot and we saw a table available on the shaded side of the restaurant and sat down. The waitress was friendly and efficient. We didn't have any food but the pizzas served at the table next to us looked good. The atmosphere was relaxed and a good choice for a cool beer.

We stumbled upon this place searching for dinner in Celle, just passing through for a one night stay. The Flammkuchens, a type if really thin "pizzas" were very tasty and staff attentive and nice.

Only Flammkuchen does not make me perse happy. Owner was very good, and nice to talk with. We were there at 2 pm for lunch and it was pretty empty. I like more people to be honest.

The food was great. The waitress their spoke good English and was able to explain the menu. Very helpful and nice. Best pizza I have had in Germany. Réservez une table maintenant
