Le Serpolet - Réserver une table

You wouldn't normally rush to a converted house (with pool in the front) on the fringes of an industrial estate far from the centre of Bordeaux but....I have eaten here several times over recent years and have always been pleasantly surprised by the experience. The chef has a quirky approach to things which means well executed dishes appear with a twist on the norm - latest was shrimp served on a bbq on a plate - yes I know but trust me it's true and it was delightful.There is a relaxed atmosphere consistent with being in someone's front room and charming service.The more I go the more I like it.

Le Fleuret is a wonderful local place for authentic French food in Pessac. Everything from the warm welcome of the staff, particularly Clement, to the interactions with the Chef were wonderful and added great color to a beautiful September evening in a great section of France. The food was delightful and very well prepared. The drinks were original and very tasty. The ambiance was very authentic as well.

We were recommended this restaurant by our local hotel and were not disappointed. The staff, whilst speaking little English were very friendly and helpful and we managed to communicate with each other. On a balmy night it was lovely sitting outside by the pool and enjoying the wonderful food and ambience - we will happily go back.

Interesting place. Converted suburban house with tables round an old pool.Varied menu. Had good fish ceviche to start and steak to follow.came with a mountain of balsamic source which is on most dishes on the menu.Good value at just over euro 100 including drinks for two

This is a very Nice Place for lunch (maybe also for dinner, but I havn't been there at night). The location on the riverband is fantastic and the Food and service is splendid. Can be recommended
