Nous sommes de grands fans de Bretagne Ferries, mais nous aimons surtout la salle à manger avec service de serveur à bord du ferry Pont Aven. Ce voyage n'était pas une exception que j'allais toujours pour les débutants et les desserts, pas de cours principal. Cela signifie que vous pouvez vous régaler sur une grande assiette de nourriture de mer et ensuite profiter d'une belle planche à fromage et des desserts vraiment savoureux tous pour £18.50. Vous pouvez revenir pour un top si vous le désirez. La liste des vins est excellente aussi et avec le statut euro actuel sa meilleure valeur. J'ai eu une demi bouteille de claret 2009 pour 10,90 £.
This is the second time I have eaten in this restaurant and I have to say its fab. This time we booked on the gourmet break. On the whole I do not like buffets but this one stands head a shoulders above any I have been to. The starters section has a great selection of seafood, salads, charcuterie, its so good you just want to keep eating it. The main course is served and if you choose well is very nice. There is a huge range of lovely desserts and a good selection of cheese. Good wine list and friendly service but a bit slow, cannot wait to return.
If you are taking the ferry to Santander it's worth juggling your dates just to make sure you are on the Pont Aven to experience this restaurant An excellent buffet of the best seafood pate cheese and desserts at a reasonable price and an excellent wine list with some fine wines at fair prices Hot tip : Pay in sterling as Brittany Ferries have not adjusted their exchange rate post Brexit This also means serious bargains in the tax free shop
Having dinner at Le Flora will be a highlight of the Channel crossing. We went to the restaurant with kids, back from Ireland. Though it is not cheap, you will definitely experience typical French cuisine, with lots of choice, sea food, meat, salads, cheese like you've never tasted before, all sorts of cakes... as well as a very nice staff.
