Visited this restaurant for an evening bite. We ate outside on their decking ( we were at table however) with the threat of rain constant.The menu is not extensive but so far as I'm concerned that's not a negative.We chose the mid range menu and were not disappointed with the quality, quantity, presentation (as if I really care)! or taste.The wine that we opted for was a local red (it's really the only way) from the Vordy Domaine and by the name of Louise which had a sticker on the bottle certifying (?) that it had won an award - good news indeed but the better news was that it was extremely glugable and suited our taste admirably. So much so that we subsequently purchased half a dozen bottl...
We visited this nice little restaurant as part of our canal du midi trip in June 17, we sat down and had a read through the menu, small but nice dishes to choose from, we decided for a set menu with grilled lamp and foie gras as starter. We had to wait quite a while to order our menu, only 2 waiter it seemed and not very organised, as he started taking orders from a table with people who came way after us, and commented that he is doing it by order of arrival cough sorry little fail there. Otherwise when the food arrived it was amazing and we all agreed we never had such a perfect grilled lamb. Superb. I recommend this little restaurant which is a just a few minute walk from the canal.
J'ai déjà été ici, la nourriture est excellente, mon entrée de Foie Gras était la meilleure que j'ai eue. Le choix de menu avait été réduit depuis notre dernière visite et est un peu limité, mais rapport qualité-prix excellent. Le personnel pourrait être un peu plus chaleureux et la chasse d'eau des toilettes a besoin d'attention.
We chose this restaurant as all other places were closed this Monday evening. It turned out to be an excellent choice. They ahve a small but good selection of dishes for their set menus. The service was nice and the speed was OK. They also took our reservation (we were a party of six) on the phone during closing hours. Réservez une table maintenant
Our party of eight stopped here for lunch while cruising the Canal du Midi. The weather that day was great so we were easily accommodated on their good-sized patio. Salmon was on their Menu du Jour and mine was excellent. Wine and food were both well-priced and the service was quick and very friendly.Highly recommend!
Nous avons eu un merveilleux repas en milieu de semaine pour célébrer notre anniversaire de mariage avec nos deux enfants! Du délicieux foie gras avec tous les accompagnements pour commencer, de l'agneau en plat principal et des profiteroles pour finir. Serveur courtois et attentif.
