Le Fournil - Réserver une table

Hungry and needing a late lunch, Le Fournil looked like it could be good...we had no idea HOW good it would be! This was expertly prepared food in a comfortable, small French town restaurant. (Our waiter didn't speak English, so we had to get by...on my poor French Among the specials in the three-course set menu was a starter of an individual bleu cheese quiche with walnuts and balsamic vinegar garnish, which was rich, creamy, and heavenly. My filet mignon was braised in a mild mustard sauce with beautifully cooked vegetables and wonderful pommes purée. My wife's lamb shank was mild, tender, and flavorful. This is worth a drive out of your way to enjoy this delightful restaurant.

Nous circulions en voiture dans la région lorsque nous avons vu de nombreuses voitures sur le parking. Nous savions que ça devait être bon et ça l'était !! Nous étions assis dans la véranda et avons attendu immédiatement. Nous avons tous deux commandé l'assiette de canard du jour. Il est venu avec du pain et une délicieuse soupe. Puis le canard, les légumes et la purée de pommes de terre au beurre. Suivi de chocolat et de biscuits après notre repas. C'est vraiment un trésor caché, à ne pas manquer. !!

We have now eaten here on many occasions and without exception the food has been excellent and service friendly and good. So impressed that we aim to go here every time we are in northern France.

Had lunch here today and it was fantastic. Lamb and pork to die for! Service excellent and you can pay by credit debit card. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves fab food

Have eaten here a few times, pricier than most in the area but well worth the expense as the food is excellent. Restaurant cosy and garden at rear nice in the summer months.
