Before arriving at Le Gaimont, we spent a week outside of Paris surrounded by family and friends in celebration of our daughter's wedding. After days of balancing and coordinating the needs of others, we arrived in Vouvray with the married couple, all of us exhausted and in need of relaxation. We could not have chosen a better place to decompress than the hidden treasure that is Le Gaimont. From the moment we stepped through the wooden gates, we felt like we had found a private oasis of peace and tranquillity. Visite regrettable, les PROPRIÉTAIRES de l'établissement sont des ESCROCS. Notre vol a eu du retard et nous n'avons pas pu arriver à temps pour le check-in, donc ils ne voulaient pas nous accueillir ce jour-là. Nous sommes arrivés tôt le lendemain et ils nous ont très mal traités ; ils ont annulé notre réservation alors que nous étions déjà sur place. Ensuite, ils nous ont MENACÉS de ne pas rester. De plus, leurs "politiques d'annulation" sont un mensonge, ils ont gardé TOUT notre argent (plus de 3 000 euros) alors que nous n’y avons même pas passé plus de 3 heures. J'appelle cela une ESCROQUERIE. Ils ne veulent toujours pas nous rembourser, ruinant ainsi notre séjour et nos vacances. De plu...
Thanks so much for hosting us and our young children. The breakfast was wonderful. I am still thinking about the croissants. We loved our family room upstairs and the pool. We showed up for a three night stay with no plans or reservations and Elisa recommended great activities or restaurants for us each day. She also let us use some of her baby gear so we could have a more comfortable stay. We had an amazing time, all thanks to Elisa and Matthieu. I hope that we get to come back one day!
La propriété est en décomposition, l'odeur des canalisations m'a empêché de dormir la nuit, l'eau potable était marron et notre salle de bain n'avait pas d'eau chaude. Les propriétaires de l'établissement n'ont rien résolu malgré nos observations et nous ont également facturé des frais supplémentaires en affirmant que nous avions endommagé leur propriété, alors que nous leur avions signalé les problèmes dès le début. A piece of paradise in France with amazing gardens, gorgeous rooms interior and a delicious breakfast. It's very calm and quiet, while still close to different cities. What a dreamy place to stay at. Perfectly off the busy roads in the middle of vineyards, hidden by a wall is this gem of a place. The gardens are gorgeous, rooms just beautiful and best yet is the service! I cannot recommend this place enough and would gladly visit again. Food drinks: Amazing breakfast Rooms: 5 Service: 5
Bad experience during our visit to this place, the hosts treated us with discrimination and racist comments for being Latin tourists.
