Extremely disappointing. The premises are very nice, if a little dated. The service was very friendly and quick and attentive. Our starters were very good. Catalan Prawns and a fish soup. There's a good wine list. No vegetables other than spinach and fries were available. The main courses were just plain BAD. The burger was processed and probably frozen, dense and cheap tasting, too much pork mixed in. The mixed fried seafood was poorly presented and full of bones and shells making it very difficult to eat. Le Galion est le meilleur de Menton. Lisa et son équipe sont exceptionnels. La nourriture est excellente. L'ambiance est parfaite. Les huîtres, les pâtes fraîches faites sur place, le poisson frais pêché quotidiennement, nous adorons ce restaurant. Si vous optez pour la viande, j'ai eu un incroyable veau Wellington, un super burger ou un steak, tous issus des meilleurs produits. Nous venons ici depuis 15 ans et cela ne fait que s'améliorer. Lisa choisit très bien ses vins et champagnes. Nous avons récemment fêté le 65e anniversaire de mon mari John ici et c'est notre choix de prédilection. Merci Le Galion pour un autre déjeuner parfait. The restaurant served us the wrong food, with the result that one member of our group had anaphylaxis. To say it ruined our night would be an understatement. I would have forgiven the restaurant for this, if they had handled the matter professionally. But they didn’t. They made no concession whatsoever when the bill came, and when we suggested that we should not pay for the items wrongly delivered, the manageress was hostile and rude. It’s such a shame.
We have been going to this restaurant with my French in laws for years. Either lunch or dinner. Fish is always fresh and fantastic. Lots of other south of france and Italian specialties. The owner Lisa is truly a remarkable woman and manages the place with an iron hand. The staff is efficient and friendly. Always reliable and comfortable. The setting right on the port is fantastic.

Tutto perfetto! It's was my birthday, I wanted to find cosy place with good kitchen and pleasure service. Le Gallion restaurant exceeded all expectations! Attentional and professional personal, very fresh and good cooked food! What about desserts, we took some, not one! If you want to have a good time in a nice place , you have to visit this restaurant!
Staff were really good. Great service. Started with amuse bouche and drinks. Then came the main meal, all very tasty and good, especially the Seabass was cooked to perfection. And the dessert were very good too. The price were a little expensive though but overall it's really good experience.
Fabulous restaurant on the Port. Superb food, excellent service and nice ambience. The tagliolini with clams is so good and the cheesecake dessert is the best! Highly recommend!
Superbes vues sur le port, cadre romantique et certains plats étaient les meilleurs que nous ayons jamais goûtés ! Nous vivons en province et venons ici depuis des années !
