I truly enjoy this restaurant, but I was disappointed to notice that the food portions have significantly decreased while the prices remain high. This place used to guarantee generous servings, making it a great option for special occasions. Unfortunately, I found the Niçoise salad ($25 after tax) to have only a few pieces of tuna steak and sparse vegetables. A little more lettuce would have been a nice touch.
Wandered into this wonderful little French cafe, right in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, while awaiting my bike repair. Really neat place, they even have whicker chairs! And also, a back yard area. Great comfort food, great service, great atmosphere—I’ll be back for brunch. Gotta try the French Toast! And the owner personally bakes all the cookies!!!!
I've been wanting to visit this restaurant for years, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. The atmosphere is charming, and the service is excellent. I tried the Escargot, which came with bread, and it was quite tasty. The prices are quite reasonable as well. I can't wait to return and try their crêpes!
Lovely partly shaded back garden. Charming French Greenpoint restaurant with friendly service and good food. Lovely for brunch or dinner! The kind of quaint place you hope to find. Afterwards take a stroll around the beautiful tree lined neighborhood. Réservez une table maintenant
This place is amazing, the hipster cafe atmosphere is amazingly refreshing in a world of increasing fast food. This restaurant has great servers who care about you and provide great service. The “Le Gamin” burger is my favorite item on the menu.
We sat outside and had such a wonderful time. Firstly, our waitress Daniella was phenomenal, so kind and attentive. I got the confit de canard and my partner got the galette and they were delicious. The backyard was very romantic and beautiful.
never coming back to this place again. We tried few dishes and it wasn’t good. Eggs were edible the rest total blah. Very disappointing….lunch 140 for 3 people was not worth it. We couldn’t finish what we ordered because it was just horrible.
I tried calling the restaurant more than ten times to place an order, but no one answered. I eventually went in to order in person and ended up waiting 50 minutes for my food. Overall, the service was extremely disappointing. Réservez une table maintenant
The cuisine is excellent but after 4 PM the menu is quite limited the most appealing dishes are in their brunch menu.Parking: Only street parking is available and spaces are few and far between.
