Le Gourmet - Réservation de table

L'année dernière, j'ai emmené un groupe manger au restaurant. C'était tellement excellent et le personnel très serviable que j'ai réservé cette année. Non seulement nous y avons mangé, mais toutes les chambres ont été réservées et y sommes restées 2 nuits. Les deux soirs, nous avons mangé à la carte. La nourriture était en partie excellente et c'était génial de passer 2 nuits pour être sûr de pouvoir manger un bon choix dans le menu. Les chambres sont bonnes, simples mais impeccablement propres et confortables. Peut-être que des serviettes plus épaisses seraient appréciées. Des gens si sympathiques, si serviables, sympathiques et efficaces.

Very friendly staff, 100 affordable house made food by a special attestation of the French government proved: maitre restaurateur. You eat there as if you are invited at the table of a French family. Le Gourmet is also a hotel with 8 comfortable rooms... all equipped with Wi-Fi. Private hall, parking for cars and buses are available. The Hotel Restaurant Le Gourmet is located at the intersection between Arras-Peronne and Albert-Cambrai in the centre of the 'Route du Souvenir' of the Great War and 10 minutes from the monument to the Missing on the Somme in Thiepval. An excellent stop.

We (Father and Son) went to eat on a cool Monday evening for a little bite, and although our preference would have been to finish pizza in Le Gourmet (for lack of alternatives). We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and value of the menu... and friendliness of the service. Definitely an alternative to restaurants in Albert or Peronne when you visit the Somme battlefields.

We (father and son) went out on a chilly Monday evening for a small bite to eat and - though our preference would have been Pizza -ended up at Le Gourmet (for lack of alternatives). We were pleasantly suprised by quality and value of menu and friendliness of service. Definetively an alternative to restaurants in Albert or Peronne, when visiting the Somme battlefields. Nous avions une réservation de groupe pour le déjeuner lors de notre visite de la région. Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux, le vin a volé gratuitement et le déjeuner a été servi efficacement. La nourriture était une bonne cuisine locale, rien de spécial mais savoureuse quand même et le tout dans une atmosphère très chaleureuse.

Menu has several options of table d'hôtel as well as a a good choice of a la carte items. I tried several different starters, main courses and desserts and all were delicious and ample. Good wine list, too. All round excellent value and good service
