On my last night in France, went out with friends for dinner and found this chic gourmet restaurant. I was certainly not expecting something that pleasing, we have been nicely welcomed by the Maitre D', passed through the main dinning room and we ended up in a beautifully set garden set. The menu is not large but offers a good selection of courses that will delight most of the palate, the wine list is very large with options to select Grands Crus by the glass, the staff is well attention and very polite, which was a surprise considering the other experiences we had in the neighborhood. We have tried the gazpacho with Serrano ham which was excellent and so was the Parmentier dish with seared...
Comment décrire une expérience aussi merveilleuse ? De l'accueil jusqu'à l'au revoir tout est parfait au Gourmet. Les tables sont bien espacées et les autres convives se font facilement oublier. La nourriture est exceptionnelle et à un prix extrêmement raisonnable. Le menu est varié et change fréquemment mais les standards sont maintenus dans tout ce qui est présenté. Le vin est également d'un bon rapport qualité-prix, mais vous pouvez dépenser plus si vous le souhaitez. Le personnel est professionnel, poli et sympathique. Si j'habitais à proximité, ce serait un régal régulier.
Some plus some minus for example the location is fantastic especially if you get a table near the veranda.Inside decoration is elegant .The food is good.Nothing to brag about but correct. Prices are relatively high The wine list is fine with affordable selected bottles ' The desert : Baba au rhum was not eatable.One of the worst I had.The so=called rhum agricole (St.James) did not help. Amazingly enough they do not accept American express credit card which is incredible for a restaurant which claims to be one of the best in this area
Ils servent une bonne cuisine française traditionnelle. Le restaurant était totalement complet un mardi soir, alors réservez à l'avance. J'ai trouvé les prix plutôt élevés > 40 euros pour le plat principal mais la qualité est également bonne. L'intérieur ne fonctionnait pas très bien pour moi, un peu démodé.
