Took family there on chalet staff's night off ... five of us were accommodated in a table in the smaller crypt like room ... from the odd menu to the quirky dishes and the (I presume he was the) owner's goood humour and leg pulling we thoroughly enjoyed it!I had the entrecote steak (good if a little fatty), tartiflette, fondue and a vegetarian dish were all executed well. Unusual named desserts and coffee (you MUST have the cafe au lait gourmand ...!) were all well done and fun to have ,..Monsieur le proprietor returned to joke with me about English people not being allowed to see the Genepi bottle ... then relenting and letting me try it ... great fun and I think this is a good restauramt with a sense of humour - recommended!Do not expect stuffy, haute or nouvelle cuisine but do expect a nice ambiance, fun food and staff and reasonable prices - €180 for 5 including two bottles of wine, genepi, coffee for one and desserts for four.

We went here on the recommendation of our friends and there aren't enough adjectives to describe the food and the service here. It's rare that we go back to somewhere twice in a week but the menu here meant we had to come back. After a mouthwatering steak on the first visit the steak tartare was calling out to me and as a main...the veal was just to die for. If you only go out for one night in les deux Alpes, this HAS to be the place you go.

... amazing fondue and charcuterie... kids adored pizza baked in traditional ovens. Will confirm if it's truly the best fondue in the world when I go back there in 2 days... Also non-pretentious and very good value. Highly recommended

Have eaten with friends multiple times here. Its good value and nice food and atmosphere. I normally end up paying just over €30 as part of a group for my share. Steak wine etc. Worth a visit.

Had a great evening here with 13 persons. We feasted a lot (!) and the bill came out (in my opinion) cheap considering our choice of beverages and food... A great place to visit !
