2 of us visited without a booking and were asked to wait 5 minutes for a table which not a problem as the waitress was polite and cheerful.The menu is full of regional favourites as we as great burgers with a local twist. So, whether you are looking for regional food well prepared or burgers of several types, this is a great place to visit. There is a decent selection of local and other wines and the food and drinks are well priced for the Chamonix valley. If you wonder about the rock n' roll pics on the wall and the vinyl album place mats, some ex-pats told us the chef/patron was a roadie for the big bands around Europe a few years ago, and the mix of local style and this memorabilia works well as decor. Give it a try.

One evening we were put off by the casual atmosphere and lack of clientele (we go to eat really early, though, so quickly learned that no place is very full at 7 or even 7:30!). That was a big mistake! We came back another night and were so impressed by every aspect of the place we couldn't wait to recommend it. We dined with our two children (8, 10) and the service, meals, and value were all excellent! We loved our crepes, the children's meals were excellent and we all left very happy. Highly recommend for a casual but delicious dinner. It could also be considered a dessert shop or a cafe, but then you would be missing out on dinner!

Book if you want to make sure they can fit you in. Great place for dinner for 4 people, difficult if you are more than 6. Try the duck if it is on the menu.

Lovely and original food with good atmosphere. There was live sport in another part of the bar. Reasonable pricing
