Je n'ai pas pensé grand-chose de cet endroit quand je suis entré pour la première fois. Son intérieur profondément illuminé, entouré de bois sombre, semblait un peu sombre pour mon humeur. Les premières impressions ne veulent rien dire. Le personnel du bar était sympathique, la musique entraînante nous a fait danser et je ne pensais pas que les boissons étaient si bon marché étant donné que c'était au pied du téléphérique principal d'Aravet. Un endroit parfait pour terminer sa journée de ski. On peut s'asseoir dehors quand le soleil se montre et la nourriture n'est pas si mal.
We stayed at a hotel closeby, so we went passed Le Grotte everyday after our skiing. It was hard to find tables between 16 and 17, after that it wasn't that many people. There were a lot of things that they were out of. You...couldn't get Jaeger, glas of sparkling (only a whole bottle), no aperol spritz, no dark beer. I don't know if there was something with planning of purchase, it was still strange that a place that holds themselves high of afterski, ran out of quite common drinks.
This is the bar you will meet all the local ski and boarding talent. No frills, no fuss. Cheap beer and happy go lucky atmosphere. The staff are happy out and game for a laugh. Something happening everyday during the season. Deck has the perfect...aspect to keep an eye on what is happening on the Mickey and for apres ski to catch the last rays of sunshine before heading home. The people make the place check it out!
Had a holiday disaster, lost the keys to the rental car (with our snowboards inside) and took shelter in La Grotte for food and wifi. Staff couldn't be more helpful, especially the owner who went to great lengths to help us out. Good food, cheap...drinks, decent wifi and a pool table to keep you occupied. Highly recommended!

a lively dive, much visited by seasonal and lying ski-bums and trainers. English in possession and running, beer, spirituous, wine, dishes, as well as quite good and uncomplicated eating and coffee in the season. you can sit outside and see the world, over. very good...place when they are in serre chevalier
Right on the piste, handy for meeting up after ski school. Our group were different abilities doing different runs but all ended up here for lunch. Price and services are good. Not the poshest place but food is good and plentiful.
Nous avons espéré trouver une sorte de refuge ici. C'est juste un pub malodorant, rien de spécial et le service n'est pas particulièrement bon. Pas de soleil l'après-midi. En tout cas, cela ne vaut pas la peine d'y aller.
J'ai beaucoup aimé ce restaurant. Un bon menu, un personnel sympathique et beaucoup d'espace. Il y a des tables de billard et autres. Situé juste sous la bulle Aravet avec une piste à proximité. Je le recommande

Bon petit bar, qui est bon marché directement au bas de la pente. Il a deux heures de bonheur et sert également à manger. Nous y retournerions.
