First things first: there is plenty of parking, either directly at Le Hangar, or next door in the old railway station car park, where there is more shade. Next is the cornucopia that greets you as you go through the door. Lots of their own biscuits, of course, but also other local produce, a very good selection of wine and beer, and when we were there, a spotlight on Spanish products such as fish and oil. Ahead is the glass window, through which you can see the people busy making the biscuits. Beyond is the cafe, with a high ceiling, sofas, tables and chairs - and the most amazing selection of home-made cakes. We had elevenses there twice during our week and on both occasions the baked goods...

Very good food, large portions, freshly prepared, even the skins are taken off the tomatoes for the salads .They have a small menu, about 6 salads,6 baked potatoes with various toppings with sauces (not your normal baked potatoes )they also have a daily menu well priced, with 2 to 3 choices for each course.wine is served by the glass, but you can also buy a bottle of wine that they sell in their shop and pay a small corkage fee.For dessert they have a selection of tarts, daily dessert, and of corse their chocolate brownie. You can also pop in for a coffee or tea.

This is a must do for me when we come to Brittany. It is a shop and restaurant combined in a renovated building. The shop always has interesting things and plenty of speciality conserves, wines etc. Their biscuits are their speciality and you can choose your own selection. The restaurant is bright and airy and normally has an art exhibition of some kind on display. The food is generous and the hot chocolate luscious. Outside seating, clean toilets and plenty of parking available.

Had a very nice lunch here, small menu choice but then the dishes are obviously all freshly made. Cafe Gourmand pud was great, excelent value with (I think) 6 sweet nibbles. It's a big airy, modern factory-loft style room, very different for the area, which is great. Not that many tables, but filled up by 12.30.Have had mid-morning coffees here too, a bit more expensive, but they give you 1 of their biccies with it...
