this restaurant is located in the beautiful medieval town of t-sur-Loing, home of the painter alfred sisley, 50 minutes by paris with the train from gare de lyon. the restaurant alone is ground enough to make this trip. although we were in paris, we visited this restaurant twice. depending on the train, t is only one or two stops past fontainebleau and the two can easily be combined for a great day trip. chef francois le touche serves very special dishes. on Friday we enjoyed the plat de jour for 22 euro, ordered cadjau for a fruit and dessert with celestial, earthy, meringue, ice and whipped cream. everything was excellent. on Sunday we returned to dinner served from 12-2. we ordered the caesar salad to start, followed by a series of fishing with risotto and a second rinderfilet with potato and mushrooms. do not let the name caesar salad fool them. that was nothing we had in America. it was a large piece of romain herz salat with smoked salmon, smoked scallops, cut apples, shaved Gouda cheese and dressing that was dissert incredible! we ordered the le baba au rhum, the white chocolate panacotta and mango obst included. a week later, and we are still talking about this meal. a bottle of chateau grand tertre for 26 euro topped from the meal perfect. the personal is professional, helpful and knowledgeable. our only regret is that we cannot go back when we return to paris. that is a good food best. fun.
