le lamparo is located above a small beach in cap d’Ail and is a pretty small place for a casual lunch or dinner. as our second visit we were not disappointed. at this opportunity, both salate niçoise and quinoa, napolitano pizza, Caesar...salad and linguine vongole chose us. we drank baron pression (local beer € 8.90 per pint). the service is friendly if something irritating; anthony took care of us, patiently explained what was in the offer. eating is good as it is a relatiw small kitchen, but the pasta was warm instead of hot. a little disappointment! there are two parts of the restaurants, we have decided to sit on top floor under deck as there is a party on the beach happening, below whe...
We decided to rent 2 sunbeds at Lamparo Beach. The beds were very comfortable, but for 20€ each they do not include any beach towel extra surcharge of 7€ per towel. If you want to be on the first row 25€ each sunbed. The...little plastic table was full of dirt and long hairs of the previous guests and all day long we had plenty of pigeons around us. This place has really a big problem with this animals behind the sunbeds there is a space for having lunch but our appetite left when we saw other pigeons sitting on the plates and having the rest of the leftover of the previous customer. (HACCP?!? The manager of this place was so unkind and arrogant after a question that we decided to leave this...
beautiful ambiente and eating is good, but the manager for the evening we went seemed to think that we were here only on vacation and could not be treated natively and so terrible. be warned! the attitude of the manager in the evening when we went was...rude and insulting to be openly busy is not an excuse for this behavior. we were reserved in advance and were pushed under loud loud loudspeaker into the back of the beach. he was insulting when we politely asked to move, because one of our friends is older and has difficulties. he answered rude, unhelpful and sure I have lost confidence in the place that is a scandal, as I think we need to take our custom / regular visitors elsewhere.
Last Thursday I booked a table for dinner for two for the following day (Friday) at 21.00. The guy over the phone asked me if we wanted to sit on the terrace or in the beach. Then he asked for my telephone number which I...gave him. When we arrived at 20.55 the restaurant was closed! No informations, no signs, just shut down. J'ai déjeuné au restaurant. J'ai commandé un bol de poke au thon. La qualité de la nourriture à l'intérieur était terrible (l'avocat était comme du plastique). Rien n'avait de goût. J'ai dit au serveur que c'était immangeable, il m'a répondu que nous devrons vous facturer cela. J'ai payé mon repas et ai fait signe de la main en partant, plus jamais.
Nous avons organisé une fête familiale pour l'anniversaire de mon fils et ses parents au Lamparo, le personnel et les propriétaires ont été absolument fantastiques et tout était organisé à la perfection!! Cadre magnifique sur la plage, nourriture merveilleuse et atmosphère détendue avec des vues imprenables sur la mer!!
Suis allé déjeuner la semaine dernière, il y avait une sélection fantastique de plats. La serveuse était très sympathique et serviable, elle nous a offert un panier de pain en plus! J'ai pris le poke bowl qui était délicieux! Je le recommande vivement si vous êtes dans le coin.
