Four of us ate another lovely lunch at this great little restaurant. It’s not the first time we’ve been here and it certainly won’t be the last. We had the Menu Ouvrier which today comprised 5 courses starting with Cauliflower and Squash soup, followed by a scrumptious Terrine, both accompanied by wonderful homemade bread rolls. The main course of Beef Daube was melt in the mouth tender and delicious and the Cheese course comprised two local cheeses. Finally dessert arrived as we were all thinking ‘can’t eat another mouthful ‘ but we did justice to a delightful chocolate cake with crème pat. A carafe of red wine kept the food company and of course there was coffee to finish. We all declared the meal “delicious” to our hostess who was charming as usual. All of this for the princely sum of 13.50 Euros per person! Hard to believe, but do give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
We spent a few days at a nearby campsite and ate here on our last night. I wish we'd found it sooner. The fixed price menus were great value for money and the food was absolutely delicious. It's a long time since I had a meal in a restaurant that was as good as this. We decided to have the 3 course menu for €20 and it was amazing. There was a children's meal which consisted of a salad, pasta with chicken, and ice cream for dessert. Great price and our very fussy son ate it! All of our dishes were excellent. Highly recommended. If you're in the area definitely book a table!
