le lion d`or - Réservation de table

Nous sommes tombés par hasard sur Le Lion D'Or après avoir séjourné dans un hôtel près de Toulouse qui nous a déçus à tous les niveaux. Le jeune propriétaire a tout compris...Nous avons déjeuné ici... la nourriture était absolument délicieuse... nous avons pris 2 plats du menu table d'hôte. Mon mari a eu le risotto le plus délicieux avec du saumon. J'ai eu du poulet rôti avec une purée délicieuse, évidemment faite avec un bouillon de poulet frais et la crémosité vient de la purée...suivi de pannacotta et de fruits frais. Parfait ! Nous avons aperçu du steak tartare et d'autres plats délicieux... tous avaient l'air délicieux. Le restaurant était plein... un groupe dégustant évidemment d'excel...

Arrived at the hotel for a 2 night stay what a little gem. Booked 2 rooms both of which were spacious and spotlessly clean, the mattress’s were sumptuous and comfortable.Like the rest of room the linen was clean and pristine. The room had all the usual tea and coffee making facilities.It has a welcoming bar where you can relax and enjoy a drink.Now to the food, we ate in the exterior terrace where we chose from the set menu .Fresh Oysters, salads, foie gras for starters, steak tartare, duck and fish mains and deserts all prepared to such a high standard the quality of the food exceptional well done the “Chef”. The wine’s have been well chosen and priced. The waiting staff were both efficient...

Nous avons pris un steak de boeuf et un steak de thon qui étaient bons. Cependant, le service n'était pas très bon. Il est indiqué à l'extérieur et sur internet qu'ils ouvrent à 17h30. Quand nous sommes entrés à 18h30, la serveuse a dit qu'ils n'ouvraient qu'à 19h00... et nous a renvoyés, moi et mes deux petits enfants (1 et 3 ans), dehors pour attendre alors qu'il faisait 5 degrés... Ensuite, le menu n'a pas été bien expliqué et il semblait que nous avons été facturés assez cher pour de la nourriture qui était annoncée comme étant d'un bon rapport qualité-prix. De plus, la serveuse n'était pas amicale, a oublié la sauce pour le steak et était constamment absente (pour fumer ou envoyer des m...

We have eaten in this restaurant, at lunchtime, regularly since Pierre took over. This visit, had it been the first, would have put us off returning. We had the worst lunch we have experienced here since the take over: greasy samosas, mushroom pasta that was all chewy over-cooked and tasteless pasta, not much mushroom and so little sauce that I couldn't eat most of the dish. Whist the steak was cooked correctly, the accompanying chips were soggy, possibly because of being held in the kitchen or due to stale oil. The dick sauté was more like steamed duck, with very little flavour. The Asian noodles were actually very plain. We declined desserts as a result.Fingers crossed that normal standard... Je ne pouvais pas reprocher ni à la nourriture ni au service ; à 66 euros pour 2 personnes (composé de 2 menus 3 plats à 25 euros par personne, plus les boissons), nous avons eu un très bon repas à un prix très raisonnable, et le service était également sympathique. Beaucoup de locaux y dînent, donc l'endroit est apprécié. Nous y retournerions certainement. J'ai juste trouvé que la décoration (spacieuse, moderne) était peut-être un peu terne, et l'ambiance un peu fade. L'emplacement est en face de l'église ; il y a quelques places de parking juste devant, et d'autres places de stationnement dans les rues à proximité.

Found this excellent place by accident as all best places in France are found....Really impressed with thier understanding of customer service, really welcoming, professional and pleasant without being overpowering.Really tasty food especially lunch set meal.WiFi good too.Both young servers helped with menu in English for "dullards" like me; learnt in London. The experience on first visit lead to further visits.Don't pass this by; free easy parking next to church except on market days - Fridays.Loved it

Twelve of us had a wonderful evening in this lovely restaurant last Friday evening. The staff were fantastic and the food was delicious. From the outside, the Lion D'Or looks like a small, French cafe in a small town square but it has plenty of space and a delightful courtyard. Despite booking for such a large party on the day, we were warmly welcomed and enjoyed the hospitality. We would recommend this restaurant without hesitation and will certainly return when next in the area.

Nice welcome and tables well spaced apart. Sat in the garden area and felt safe with staff wearing masks as well as customers, until seated. 4 adults and 3 children all enjoyed a really good meal. I had duck and I think it was the best I have had in a restaurant. My fussy daughter had steak and had no complaints. Looking forward to going back next year. Réservez une table maintenant

Il suffit de monter à 12/30 et d'obtenir la dernière table. Cuisine de producteurs locaux et bien présentée et de saison. Même si le service était bon et n’avait pas besoin d’attendre ni de se sentir pressé. J'aimerais pouvoir y retourner demain mais je reviendrai bientôt

Great food, service and value we particularly enjoyed a starter of foie gras with ginger bread ice cream and a pudding of chocolate tart with an inspired chocolate and chilli ice cream.
