Le Macaron French Pastries Ponte Vedra Beach

I was so excited to bring them home to try with the family, I got a dozen in a variety of flavors. These Macarons were terrible. The whole batch was baked soggy, it was basically a bunch of moist sugar paste sandwiches, and the flavors were badly balanced: Vanilla Pistachio were basically sugar-flavored, Lavender did not even have a hint of lavender in it, and Rose was so heavy with the taste it tasted like soap. After trying half the flavors in the box with each worse than the next, we don't even have the last 2. Considering how expensive this was, I expected high quality goods, but everything I received was disappointment.

Nice place to shop! The seller wasn't very helpful, but she did her job. The Macarons were perfectly baked, but there were a few flavors added with minimal filling. The large filled Madeline's were dry, almost with a cornbread texture, with minimal filling. The painted chocolates were my favorites in our order! They were beautiful, rich with taste and perfectly sweet! Everything looks absolutely beautiful, but there was something missing. We try again when we visit the area, but we were not overly impressed.

Our 9 year old twin daughters picked Le Macaron for their birthday party and it was awesome! Owners Reggie and Stephanie gave them and their friends a history lesson on France and pastries that was so fun! I asked them what was their favorite part of the party and they said “all of it!” Such quality products and caring owners. Love this place!

Great pastries and cakes. Large variety of decadent cakes and cakes plus cookies and Macaroons. Large parts. Friendly staff.
