The first contact when we entered the restaurant was a little bit rough. The waitress just assigned us to a table with no option. Bizarre but she is young. Thgings improved drastically afterwards. The service became extremely careful and strict. The menu is great. I took foie gras, which i do warmly recommend. for main course we had the veal pastilla, amazing of original savors. fantastic. The dessert was so so. The wine list is short, very Cahors centric, but we got a very good Cahors, not as strong as I feared. The price is very affordable for the quality of the food and the originality of the ingredients and savors. Highly recommended. You must call and make a reservation. The restaurant...
An excellent restaurant with fine modern cuisine, very tasty. We took Croustillant d’agneau façon tajine, melon rôti au miel, Houmous de pois chiche et jus de pruneau/cumin and Ris de veau braisé au ratafia , Pommes de terre mitraille au thym frais, tartandise au foie gras . Just a fantastic dessert. Excellent service. Beautiful interior. Very small private space. We got great pleasure.
The location is off the tourist path, but only 2 or 3 blocks. The restaurant inside is tastefully decorated. There are outside tables that are also very nice. The owners are husband and wife. Very professional, it shows in every way.The service was very good. Most of all the food was very good. We enjoyed the whole daily menu. Would go back any time if visiting Cahors.
We had the menu which was delicious and included mise bouche and other tasty morsels. The meal was beautifully presented and very good, except for the pork main course; the belly pork was really delicious but the other two pieces were a little undercooked for my taste, and so the main course was a bit disappointing.
